Bushcraft: Family Day

Course dates are yet to be confirmed but you can register your interest now by submitting our online enquiry form. As soon as dates are released we will be sure to notify you.

Why should the kids get all the fun? It's time to get outside for a fantastic family day, having great fun and learning essential bushcraft skills!

This fun-packed day is a great introduction to bushcraft. You'll work together to create a weatherproof den. The first challenge will be finding your materials, so have a good look around for branches, leaves and anything else you can find lying around. Once your den is complete you'll learn how to make a fire using only materials you can find around you, who will light their fire first? We'll wrap the session up with marshmallows toasted over the fire - sounds like the perfect day!

This session is outdoors and we can't guarantee the weather, or that you'll stay clean! If it's raining we'll carry on, outdoor activities are still plenty of fun in the rain if you're properly kitted out. We like to think of it as just another way to challenge our skills!
